Best value engine on the market! (Honda is not happy)

After 8+ years of being a professional motorcycle mechanic here in the USA./before 2 years in motorcycle tech collage...
I've got to say this little Chinese engine has impressed me! It will bolt right into every Honda 50 style frame, including my c110 with very minor modifications, THE ONLY THING YOU MUST DO: is the oil that comes in these engines during shipping is TRASH , BEFORE FIRST RUN drain that oil!! If you do not drain it and run it with that oil it will smoke and eventually ruin the clutch plates, Due to being super cheap oil it does not have the proper friction inhibitors for a wet clutch,
So you must change with a oil that is suitable for this engine, AFTER YEARS OF TRYING EVERY OIL IMAGINABLE IN PIT BIKES...
ONE IS KING! LUCUS MOTORCYCLE OIL 10-40 is the weight you want for this engine regardless whatever oil you decide to go with MAKE SURE it either says motorcycle on the bottle or suitable for wet clutch. If you do this & regular air filter and oil changes the engine will last a extremely long time!

Be ready for some tuning

Ran a few days and the started backfiring. Became so bad it wouldn't run. The exhaust valve was not adjusted properly, the valve had no clearance, was always cracked open. Corrected the valve clearance and now works good. Had to make some mods to fit on a carter talon go kart.

Unbelievable

This engine was simply an unbelievable deal. A great little engine at a terrific price. What's not to like? Well, there is one thing that could be better and that's the wiring diagram. Unfortunately, I don't read Chinese and that's what the diagram uses. The Lifan Co. would probably make more sales if folks weren't scared of that 12 volt system and how it's supposed to work in a six volt bike.

Shipping was very fast . Was expecting it would have taken a week to get here . But it was here in 3 days . Well packaged and secured when shipped thru FedEx . I opened the box and everything I took out was well wrapped and I inspected everything that came in the kit and all in all everything is well put together and everything is in brand new condition as stated. Nothing had any damage. I would recommend this to anyone that needs an upgrade or replacement engine kit . The motor is brand new but somehow the FedEx had the box upside down and the oil was leaking everywhere my cover was crack in the side but other than that it starts right up

packaged was not so great but started first try great engine I have about 60 miles on it no complaints on the engine running I only wish they would give the oil in a bottle and not in the engine already because the engine was full of oil around the engine when it arrived at my house would difentley Recommend to anyone that is interested in this engine great Purchase

great Motor

Working great so far. Has about 30 miles on it right now. Be sure to put oil in it. check the gap on the Rocker arms. Mine was set below 0.04. I put mine at 0.04. That's where it needs to be.
